The four sections
Each section targets how English is used in study and work. Tasks are concise, scenario‑based, and calibrated to CEFR descriptors.
Reading
Identify main ideas, detail, stance, and inference in applied texts: policies, emails, briefs.
- Item types: multiple‑choice, matching, short response
- Texts: 250–600 words
Listening
Understand multi‑accent audio: meetings, briefings, interviews, short lectures.
- Item types: MCQ, note‑fill, ordering
- Audio: 45–120 seconds each
Writing
Produce clear emails, summaries, and short analyses with appropriate tone and structure.
- Tasks: short email (100–150 words), response/summary (150–220 words)
- Scoring: task fulfilment, organisation, range & control
Speaking
Respond to interview‑style prompts; measured for coherence, range, accuracy, and delivery.
- Prompts: introduction, situational, opinion
- Recording: 30–90 seconds per prompt

Guided sitting

Two tasks: a concise email and a brief response/summary. Word counters and timers are visible.
Speaking
Record short responses to prompts. A warm‑up example is provided before scoring starts.
